FLOWERY BRANCH - Dolores M. Darling Nix, 74, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012, following an extended illness.

She was born April 14, 1938, the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Higgins of New York, N.Y.
Survivors include husband of 26 years, Jerry Nix, Flowery Branch; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Patti Darling, Mitchell and Phylis Darling and David and Jennifer Darling; daughter and son-in-law, Valorie and Karl Ryder; sisters, Adrian Dodson and Valorie Edwards; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, at Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Memorial Park South Funeral Home, Flowery Branch, is in charge of arrangements.
