Christine Dalton Burt Garmon (4-27-12)

EATONTON - Christine Dalton Burt Garmon, 83, died on Friday, April 27, 2012.

She was born in Monroe on August 23, 1928, the daughter of the late Edgar and Bertha Murrell Dalton. Mrs. Garmon was preceded in death by husbands, the late William Carlton Burt and the late Wyvan Kenneth Garmon.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-Law, Barbara and Steve Boyd, Jefferson, Angela and Larry Gilliam, Eatonton; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Cindy Burt, Monroe; sisters, Lois Hudgins, Sara Handley, and Eloise Hood, all of Monroe; brother-in-Law, Buddy Sargent, Monroe; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday April 30, at the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Revs. Terry Richardson and Chris Conner officiating. Interment was at Hill Haven Cemetery.

Meadows Funeral Home, Inc., Monroe, was in charge of arrangements.
