HOMER - Daniel Eugene Linne, 67, died on Monday, April 23, 2012.
He was born March 18, 1945 in Indianapolis, Ind., the son of Bonnie Johnson Linne of Monroe, formerly of Seymour, Ind., and the late Alfred Eugene Linne of Seymour, Ind. He served in the United States Navy as a torpedo-man. After being honorably discharged, he returned to Indiana and graduated from Indiana University. He later retired from Cummins Engines as a machinist and moved to Georgia in 1994, where he lived until present. Mr. Linne was preceded in death by a stepson, Jay Patrick.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Louella Lee Linne, Homer; stepdaughters and step-son-in-law, Melissa and John Allman, Monroe, and Ivy Patrick, Dallas, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Saundra and Robert Wilson, Johns Creek, and Tammy and Charles Jones, Suwanee; sons, Adam Linne, Suwanee, and Shawn Linne, Grayson; and sister and brother -in-law, Saundra and Dick Allman, Monroe.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 28, at St. Anna's Catholic Church with Father Daniel Toof officiating. Interment followed at Hill Haven Cemetery.

Prayers and condolences to the Linne Family in their time of Loss. Dan was a great guy and a Loving father. I enjoyed talking and visiting with him when I had the chance too... Will sadly be missed and to the family if there is anything Nancy and I can do please give us a call. Lou our prayers are with you. Adam your dad was a great guy. Will miss him
