COMMERCE - Dorothy "Dot" Holcomb Williams, 91, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Hull, the daughter of the late Albert Edward and Myrtle Bray Holcomb. She was a member of Erastus Christian Church and was retired from Blue Bell. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Thurmond David "Tippy" Williams.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Freeman and Sharon Chitwood, both of Commerce; grandchildren, Scott and Leslie Williams of Nashville, Tenn., Jeff and Tracey Chitwood, Commerce, Melanie and Brice Ingram, Danielsville, and Christy and Albert Chandler, Commerce; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 22 at 3 p.m. from Erastus Christian Church with Steven Parker and Carl Beckham officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night, April 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

Dot will be missed greatly. I loved Dot and Tippy very much.
