BRASELTON - Hettie Lorene Simmons Baird, 65, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012.
She was born in Jefferson, the daughter of the late Willie Simmons and Hettie Irene Beck Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Baird, Braselton; daughters, Pam Hightower and Sherry Elliott, both of Braselton; two sisters, Lucille Wiliford, Lawrenceville, and Jeanette Dalton, Jefferson; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 20.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
