Emory Reiser (4-19-12)

STATHAM - Emory W. Reiser, 75, died Thursday, April 19, 2012.

A native of Clyo, Georgia, he was the son of the late Emory and Inez Hammond Reiser. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, John Robert Reiser and Corbin Weston Wilson. Mr. Reiser was a retiree of The Georgia National Guard and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Mann Reiser; children, Jennifer Reiser (Chris) Wilson, Tina Reiser Reynolds, Julie Reiser (Joe) Spry, Mark Reiser, Emory Reiser, II and Dennis Reiser; stepchildren, Jan (Mike) Jordan, Susan (Corey) Pruitt, Michael (Vicky) Rosser, Ron (Darenda) Kinney and Charles Elrod, Jr.; 30 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. to service time.

Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
