NICHOLSON - Mary Pugh Sprinkles, 69, passed away peacefully after a two-and-a-half year courageous fight with cancer. Throughout the entire illness Mrs. Sprinkles never once complained.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend to all. Mrs. Sprinkles was the daughter of Tiny O'Dillon Pugh of Nicholson and the late Henry "Buck" Pugh. She was a member of Center Baptist Church and was retired from Collin-Moody and Company P.C.
Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband, Roger Sprinkles, Nicholson; daughters, Donna Watson and Marie Bettis, both of Nicholson; grandchildren, Travis Watson, Gainesville, Matt Watson, Athens, and C.J. Bettis, Nicholson; brothers, William Pugh, Athens, and Calvin Pugh, Cleveland; and sisters, Runa Sosbee and Dot Whitehead, both of Nicholson.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21, from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Stowers officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night, April 20, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
