Dee Coggins (4-16-12)

MAYSVILLE - Dee Coggins, 75, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, at his residence surrounded by family, following an extended illness.

He was born November 5, 1936, the son of the late Hubert and Birdie Overby, Flowery Branch, and was an assembly worker for Georgia Chair. Mr. Coggins was preceded in death by brothers, Harrison Coggins, Roy Coggins, Ralph Coggins, and Rayburn Coggins; and a sister, Frances Day.

Survivors include his wife, Ethelene Coggins, Maysville; sons, Joey Coggins and Frank Coggins, both of Maysville; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Robin Richardson; grandsons, Eric Laffond and Bryce Richardson; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Judy Coggins, Flowery Branch; sister, Betty Boggs, Flowery Branch; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 19, from the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Broadlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Scott Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the funeral home.
