FLOWERY BRANCH - Jeremy Alan Randolph, 27, died on Saturday night, April 14, 2012. The Lord decided to take Jeremy home to rest and suffer no more here on earth with us.
He was born January 23, 1985, the son of Essie Mae Randolph and late James E. Randolph. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Christian M. Earls; grandparents, Roy Frank and Virgie Mae Miller and Otha and Callie Randolph Sr.; aunt, Mrs. Annie (Ted) Young; and two uncles, Ronnie Randolph and Pete (Thelma) Randolph.
Jeremy joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age and was a member of the junior choir. He attended Spout Springs Elementary, South Hall Middle, and Johnson High School. Upon his death he was employed by RDN Construction as a construction worker.
Jeremy loved so many things in life, first in foremost his daughter, Jeriya, and was looking forward to his second child that will be here sometime in September, his family friends, music and his dog.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Christina Randolph;, daughter, Jeriya Randolph; two step-daughters, Oliviya Daws and Aleciya Daws; two sisters, Jamie (Kevin) Millsap and Sylvia Stringer; special niece, Iyana Stringer; nieces, Taylor Millsap and Kaitlyn Weiner; special nephew, Christopher (Hillary) Earls; nephews, Cameron Millsap and Mason Weiner; one special great-nephew, Casen Earles (aka to him as "CJ"); Godmothers (aunts), Annie (Howard) Bailey and Mildred Bailey; three aunts, Linda (Charlie) Stringer, Cora Millsap and Mary Broders; uncles, Otha Randolph, Jr., George Wright, Frank Wright, and Wilson Wright; sister-in-law, Chasity Weiner; mother-in-law, Lisa Daws; a host of cousins, friends and relatives; and special friend and boss Robert Duvall.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 to 1 p.m. The Revs. Emerson Ross and B.H. Bailey will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
