BARROW COUNTY - Loyce Casper, 77, died Thursday, April 12, 2012.
A Barrow County native, he was the son of the late Arthur and Montine McDaniel Casper. He was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Johnny Collins in July 2011. Mr. Casper was a member of the Apostolic Church of The Lord Jesus Christ. He retired in 1996 from Gwinnett County as a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Barbara Casper, Barrow County; son, Rodney Casper, Winder; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Pam Casper, Winder; daughter, Holly Turner, Barrow County; daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Marvin Beyatt, Arnoldsville, and Amy and Brian Holder, Hoschton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and James Roberts and Sandra and Freddie Lee, all of Winder; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Kay Casper, Winder; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 15, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Revs. Johnny Wright and Tommy Baker officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
