GAINESVILLE - Flora Landers, 88, passed away at her residence Saturday, April 14, 2012, following an extended illness.
She was the daughter of the late Ernest Andrew and Agnes Benson Vickers. She worked as a spinner at New Holland and was a member of New Holland Baptist Church. Mrs. Landers was preceded in death by husband, Owen Benton Landers; sisters, Floyce Dunagan and Beatrice Westbrooks; and a son Ernest Landers.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Richard Jacobs, Keswick, Va.; daughter-in-law, Marianne Landers, Gainesville; granddaughters and husbands, Michelle and Phil Clark, Gainesville, and Stefanie and Gary Williamson, Habersham; great-grandsons, Taylor Clark, Gainesville, and Braeden Williamson, Habersham; great-granddaughters, Lauren Clark, and Erin Clark, both of Gainesville, and Jasmine Williamson, Habersham; brother, Austin Vickers, Oakwood; sister, Lillian Boyd, Gainesville; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 16, at New Holland Baptist Church with interment following at Alta Vista Cemetery. The Revs. Roger Dunagan and Mike Taylor officiated.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, was in charge of arrangements.
