NICHOLSON - Betty Elaine York, 64, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in Jackson County, the daughter of the late J.D. and Mary Howington York. She was a member of the Methodist denomination and was employed as a cook.
Survivors include her son, Chris Swaim, Danielsville; and sister, Ann Archer, Nicholson.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Howington Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Prater officiating.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
