DANIELSVILLE - Donald Bryant Woodward, 76, husband of Betsy Woodward, died Friday, April 13, 2012.
Donald was a native of Steele, Mo., and was preceded in death by his parents. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Fortified Hills Baptist Church in Marietta. He retired from Lockeed Martin after 36 years and had also worked at McDonald Douglas Aircraft. He was a sergeant with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
Survivors in addition to his wife include four children, Donnie, Chris, Pamela and Jason; brother, Ed; sister, Elaine; grandchildren, Donald, Nicholas, Ryan, Rachael, Lauren, Matthew, Ariel, Ben, Emma, Elyse and Justin; and one great-granddaughter, Skyla.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Brunson officiating. Burial will follow at Collier Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 16, at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
