Charlie Parham

Charlie Fred Parham, 85, of Comer, died Saturday, May 17, 2008.

He was born on March 19, 1923, the son of the late Shelby Parham and Allie Mae Wood, and was a member of Meadow Baptist Church. Mr. Parham was preceded in death by a stepson, John David Booth.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Parham; daughter and son-in-law, Lydia and Wayne Chandler; grandchildren, Colton Chandler, Camille Chandler and Colby Chandler.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 20, at Meadow Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Sarna, Calvin Coile and Ben Smith officiating. Burial was in Vineyards Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers were Mason Parham, John Parham, Ken Smith, Steve Russum, Ralph Dixon Jr., and Charles Booth.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
