Glenn Alfred Bailey, 67, of Royston, died Friday, August 29, 2008, at the Cobb Memorial Hospital in Royston.
Born in Conncaut, Ohio, on June 18, 1941, he was the son of Ruth B. Borowski Bailey Gaines of Royston and the late Glenn I. Bailey. He was retired from Emmanuel College, where he worked in administration and recruitment. He was a long time member of the Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Howard Bailey, Royston; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Kelly Bailey, Colbert; daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Vasco Lowery, Toccoa, Amy and Theron Ginn, Royston; grandchildren, Rachel, Thomas and Joanna Lowery, Leah and Taylor Ginn and Jackson, Jordan and Avery Jo Bailey; brother and sister-in-law, David A. and Mary Bailey, Lynchburg, Va.; and a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Dale Klockowski, Gainesville, Fla.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 31, at the Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. John Edgebath, Harrison Lampley and Chris Bailey officiating. Burial was in the Franklin Springs City Cemetery.
