Claude Lynn (3-31-12)

COMMERCE - Claude Wesley Lynn, 65, passed away Saturday March 31, 2012 at his residence.

He was born March 18, 1947 in Atlanta, the son of the late Ralph and Eula Kite Lynn. Mr. Lynn had been in the grading business for many years.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Whitten Lynn, Commerce, sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley "J.D." and Sue Lynn, Commerce, Travis William and Karyle Lynn, South Carolina, Randy and Angie Lynn, Homer, Robert and Michelle Lynn, Commerce, and Shane and Stephanie Lynn, Commerce; a sister, Cheryl Jenkins, Cumming; brothers, Ralph Lynn, Waynesboro, David Lynn, Dawsonville, and Marty Lynn, Cumming; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 3, at 11 a.m. at Caves Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Chad Rising officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Grandsons will be honored as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday April 2, at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m.
