Clifford Warren Howard, Sr. (3-30-12)

CRAWFORD - Clifford Warren Howard, 83, husband of the late Catherine "Kitty" Guest Howard, died Friday, March 30, 2012.

A native of Columbia County, he was the son of the late Arthur B. and Ruth Robertson Howard. He retired from Westclox/General Time and was of the Methodist denomination. Mr. Howard was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Zebedee Howard, Ernest Howard, Hubert Howard, Edna Carithers, Aodelle Mathis, Wayne Howard, Estherleen McGuyton, A.B. Howard and Russell Howard.

Survivors include children, Warren Howard, Commerce, Arthur and Gail Howard, Madison, Ga., Cathy and William Donohoe, Crawford, Karen and Frank Patman, Crawford; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 2, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Apostolic Church with the Rev. John Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
