Louise Whitlock (3-20-12)

GILLSVILLE – Louise Cagle Whitlock, 79, died Thursday morning, March 29, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mae Abernathy Cagle. Mrs. Whitlock was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Curtis Whitlock.

Survivors include children, Karen Oliver, Dawsonville, Shirley Lewallen, Lula, and Randall Whitlock, Gillsville; siblings, Jeannette Queen, Gillsville, and Gerald Cagle, Lawrenceville; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 31, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 30, from 6 to 9 p.m.
