COMMERCE - Lee Edward Jones, 87, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Jefferson, he was the son of the late, Lillius and Bessie Mae Jones. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, a World War II Army Veteran, and owner of Ed and Bill Photo Studio.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie Blanche Lacek Jones, Commerce; daughters, Linda Snipes, Athens, and Patti Quinn, Hull; son, Joe Jones, Commerce; and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Friday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Carlton Peters officiating with the interment following in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night, March 22, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangement.
