DANIELSVILLE – Florrie House, 81, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at her residence.
She was born in Madison County April 12, 1930, the daughter of the late Ben and Susie Roberts McLeroy. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel M Baptist Church. Mrs. House was preceded in death by three brothers, Jake, Fred and Jessie McLeroy; and five sisters, Gladys King, Annie Sue Royston, Reba Jordan, Nellie Graham, and Estelle McLeroy.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Mitchell House, Danielsville; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael House and Kenneth and Cindy House, all of Danielsville; daughter, Bobbie Jean House Petty, Danielsville; caregiver/granddaughter, Jennifer Petty Major, Commerce; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 15, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Segars and Odis Graham officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel M Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 14. The family is at home.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, is in charge of arrangements.
