‘Patsy’ Dudley (3-11-12)

COMER - Patricia "Patsy" Lou Dudley, 68, died Sunday, March 11, 2012.

A native of Comer, Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Grinell and Janie Lou Whitehead Hicks. She was an educator in Madison County for over 20 years and was a member of Meadow Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Madison County Pilot Club.

Survivors include her husband, Joe E. Dudley; two children, Tracy (Jason) Ledford, Grovetown, and Darren (Karen) Dudley, Comer; sister, Shirley Ann (Tom) Bradbeer, Tyler, Texas; four grandchildren, Kelsey Tate, Athens, Chloe Tate, Grovetown, Chase Dudley and Chance Dudley, both of Comer; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 15, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, with the Rev. Mike Sarna officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Bradbeer, Bob Bradbeer, Michael Atkins, Bob King, Ricky Hix, Bart Couch and Ricky Rowland.

A closed casket visitation will be Wednesday, March 14, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meadow Cemetery Fund or the Meadow Baptist Church Building Fund.
