Lottie Gary (2-26-12)

COMMERCE – Lottie Waters Gary, 84, died Sunday, February 26, 2012, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

She was born November 1, 1927, the daughter of the late P.Y. and Nettie Waters. She was married to W.W. (Jr.) Gary of Commerce. Mrs. Gary was preceded in death by sisters, Thelma Blalock, Lennie Turpin, Nellie Wheeler, Alma Wilson, and Ruth Waters; brothers, Howard Waters, Arthur Waters, Carson (Snooks) Waters, Emory (Stump) Waters, Joe Waters, Bob Waters and Dan Waters.

Other survivors include sons, Kenneth (Susan) Gary, and Tony (Becky) Gary, all of Braselton; grandchildren, Tamara Brendon) Briggs, Suwanee, Timothy (Sarah), Gary, Atlanta, Kelley (Lora) Gary, Hoschton, Mark (Lauren) Gary, Duluth, Teresa (Earl) Matthews, Braselton, Alison (Nathan) Potter, Midlothian, Texas, and Shelley (Brad) Chappell, Milford, N.H.; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 29, with Charles Vaughn and Linda Woollum officiating. Burial was in the Jackson Memorial Gardens.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
