NICHOLSON - Kevin Chester Barnett, 31, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Commerce, the son of Terry C. Barnett of Nicholson and Alisa Crumley of Commerce. He was employed as a plumber.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Martha Smith Barnett, Madison, Miss.; children, Landon Barnett, Madison, Miss, and Devin Barnett. Winder; and a sister, Christie Barnett, Maysville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, March 9, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Dennis Kesler and Steve Cooms officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night, March 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
