TIGNALL – Frances Carolyn Anthony, 71, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at the Athens Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Commerce, the daughter of Gwynelle Bolton Watson of Commerce and the late Willie Turner. Mrs. Anthony was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Anthony.

Survivors in addition to her mother include children, Debbie (Joel) Colquitt, Athens, and Mike Anthony, Tignall; grandchildren, Jason (Michelle) Colquitt, Casey Colquitt and Kim Reid; three great-grandchildren; brother, Boyd (Betty) Turner; and two nephews.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 4, at 2 p.m., from the Beulah Baptist Church located at 6556 Elberton Hwy. in Tignall. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, March 3, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
