BRASELTON - William Harrell Hudson, 69, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Augusta, the son of the late William Orpheus and Elna Bonita Harrell Hudson.

Survivors include his wife, Constance Shoup Hudson, Braselton; son, Jonathan Hudson (Angela), College Station, Texas; daughter, Judy Elizabeth Hudson, Monroe; brother, Jerald Beaty, Plant City, Fla.; sister, Jean Blake, Plant City, Fla.; and two grandsons, Hayden and Cameron Hudson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 4, at 578 Whitehead Rd., Athens, GA 30606 with Kimberly Hancock officiating.

Flowers may be sent to Katherine T. Wilson, 125 Tallassee Oaks Trail, Athens, GA 30606. Katherine may be reached at 706.424.1323.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

I was sadden to hear today of Bill's passing,I knew him and considered him a good friend, I worked with Bill as a supplier when he was with JCPenney Co. I have a photo on my wall of us when we went to the Alabama/Auburn football game (Roll Tide) in the 80's, I'm sorry I lost contact with him in his later years.

so sorry to hear of Bill's passing.. Worked with him so many years at JCP.. Did not hear of the Memorial Service until it was over.. would have certainly attended..
