BISHOP - Dennis Ralph "Double D" Daniel, 50, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.
Known as Double D, he was born in Athens on March 11, 1961 the son of Thelma Drake Daniel and the late Cecil Daniel. He attended the Colbert Methodist Church. Double D spent 24 years as a gasoline tanker driver.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Rhonda Daniel; son Kyle Daniel; daughter Kayla Daniel; brothers Curtis Daniel and Kenneth Daniel; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST. Interment will be in the Kidd Cemetery in Colbert.
Pallbearers will be Lou Bonner, Jim Daniel, Jim Booth, Harry Willoughby, Don Coker and Leo Matiz.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 2, from 6 until 9 p.m.
