WINDER - Sue Madden, 71, died Sunday, February 26, 2012.
A native of Gwinnett County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Jewell Bailey Stone. Ms. Madden was a member of The Lawrenceville Church of God and had resided in Winder since 1990. She was a retired cashier with Circle K convenience stores.
Survivors include her children, Diane Daniel, Social Circle, Debbie Smith Jackson, Sherry Morales and Keith Daniel, both of Monroe, Tony Sheriff, Winder, and Tim Smith, Clayton; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Nancy Forehand, Cordele, Sandra Forehand, Carrollton, Pam Davenport and Sherry Duncan, both of Gainesville; brothers, Billy Stone, Stockbridge, Ricky White, Lawrenceville, and Pete White, Snellville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 29, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lewis Stover officiating. Burial will be in the Alcova Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, February 28, from 5 to 8 p.m.
