Sybil Grace Kitchens (2-24-12)

COMMERCE – Sybil Grace Kitchens, 70, died Friday, February 24, 2012, at the Northridge Medical Center in Commerce.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Hillard Dorsey Sr. and Grace Standridge Dorsey.

Survivors include her husband, L.B. Kitchens, Commerce; children, Samuel Kitchens, Mark Kitchens and Larry (Cheryl) Kitchens, all of Commerce, and Scott Crumbley, Jackson; a sister, Brenda Smith, Jefferson; brother, Curtis Dorsey, Nicholson; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with the Revs. David Strickland and Jeff Pierce officiating. Burial will be in the Blacks Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
