BRASELTON - John T. Harp, 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
He was born in Georgia, but he spent most of his adult life in South Jersey. He was married to Carrie Mae Danner, where they raised their four wonderful children. Mr. Harp was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Walker.
He leaves to cherish his memories his three daughters, Vera Shorter, Canyon, Texas, Sara (Warren) Henson, Braselton, and Cindy (Pete) Brandjord, Wyoming; a son, John Harp, Jr., Swedesboro, New Jersey; two step-children, Kelly (Willie) Moore and Clay Harp; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
John lived his life not by the breaths that he took, but the moments that he made.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 25, at 2 p.m. at the Hope Fellowship Church in Winder.
