COMMERCE - Lenward Dennis Minish, 58, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at his residence.
He was born in Jackson County, the son of the late Len Lenward and Margaret Lord Minish. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce and was employed with the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Survivors include a son, Chase Minish, Commerce; daughters, Dawn Morris and Charity Worley, both of Commerce; brother, Sam Thurmond, Commerce; sisters, Linda Hendrix, Commerce, Diane Mooney, Huntland, Tenn., Cathy Minish and Cynthia Sorrow, both of Oakwood; five grandchildren; and a special niece and nephew.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 25 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Billy Blocker officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
