Kathryn Foran (2-18-12)

WINDER – Kathryn Kitchen Foran, 94, formerly of Augusta, died Saturday, February 18, 2012.

Born in Vidette, she was the daughter of the late Albert Broadus and Mae Pope Kitchen. She was a member of the Winder First United Methodist Church and attended college at the Georgia Women’s College in Milledgeville. Mrs. Foran was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Foran.; and a grandson, Michael Foran; and brothers, Harry and Earle Kitchen.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Ann Foran, Lawrenceville, and Mike and Deborah Foran, Winder; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister, Al Kitchen Jr. and Charlotte Bryngelson, both of Augusta.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 21, at 2 p.m. from Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Terry Tippens officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m.
