WINDER – Carolyn B. Boyd, 84, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012.
Born in Gwinnett County, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Evie Lou Roberts Burel. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Boyd, Winder; stepdaughters, Glenda C. Dalton, Sautee, and Debra Lynn Boyd, Winder; five grandchildren; nephew, Ivan Shipley, Bethlehem; and niece, Peggy Langley, Auburn.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, at 2 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Doyle Sims and Hoyt Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, February 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
