Norman Baird, 51, of Pendergrass, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008.
He was born on May 8, 1957, in Barrow County, the son of the late Ira Lee and Eulene Grier Baird. He was a truck driver for a rock quarry.
Survivors include a son, Brandon Baird, Pendergrass; daughter, Chrystal Butler, Pendergrass; brothers, Randall Baird, Gillsville, and Terry Baird, Braselton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
