CONYERS - Geraldine Hosch Bondurant, 94, formerly of Winder, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012.
A native of Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Zenia Emmett. She was preceded in death by husbands Paul Hosch and Frank Bondurant, sister, Willanelle Greene, and brother, Raymond Emmett.
Mrs. Bondurant was a graduate of Clermont High School. She worked for the clerk of court and for Martin Finance Company in Gainesville. She retired from Southern Waistbands in Winder, with 25 years of service as a bookkeeper. She was a longtime member of Winder First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include stepdaughters, Mary and Warren Lanier and Helen and Roger Kent; step-grandchildren, Stanton and Lorie Lanier, Charles and Mary Lanier, and Kirk and Kim Lanier; eight step-great-grandchildren; nephew, Clinton and Barbara Greene; nieces, Nancy and Mason Huey, Janice and Steve Dobbs, Elaine and Joe Ferguson, and Beverly and Terry Wenham; and sister-in-law, Juanita Emmett.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 11, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home, Winder, with the Rev. James Hood officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Winder First United Methodist Church.
