JEFFERSON – David Hamilton Duncan, 70, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012.
Mr. Duncan was born in Bristol, Va., a son to Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton and Beulah Kesner Duncan of Bristol, Tenn. Mr. Duncan was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Zion Baptist Church. Mr. Duncan was retired from Motiva Enterprises.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Betty Duncan, Jefferson; sons, David Duncan II, Winder, Caleb (Tonya) Duncan, Lawrenceville, and Todd Duncan, Winder; grandchildren, Erika Bryant, Chase Duncan, Wynn Duncan, Dylan Duncan, Logan Duncan, Austin Duncan, and Creek Duncan; great-grandchildren, Justice Bryant and Ashton Bryant; sisters, Ann and Al Duncan Brake, Knoxville, Tenn., and Elizabeth and Bill Duncan Nobles; and a number of other relatives also survive.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home and also at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, TN 37064, on Friday January 27, 2012 from 5-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, at 11 a.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Tenn. The burial will follow in the Williamson Memorial Gardens, Franklin, Tenn.
