BETHLEHEM - Willie Sue Wilson, 84, died Sunday, January 22, 2012.
A native of Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Arlene Mae Garrett Wallace. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, G.W. "Jink" and Miriam Wallace; and son-in-law, Ted Sims. She was a member of the Bethlehem First United Methodist Church and was a retiree of Empire Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Wilson had resided in Barrow County for most of her life.
Surviving are children, Sara Jo Sims, Winder, Larry (Theresa) Wilson, Winterville, Brenda (Terry) Roberts, Bethlehem, Mike R. (Deborah) Wilson, Bethlehem; sisters, Betty Sims, Winder, Essie Lou McCullers and Reba Boyd, both of Monroe; two brothers, Henry Wallace, Bethlehem, and Otis Wallace, Winder; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Corbin officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
