Helen Jackson
Helen Morrow Jackson, 77, of Winder, died Saturday, August 16, 2008.
She was born on October 2, 1930, in Walton County, the daughter of Trummie Morrow Camp and stepfather Joe Clifford “Jay” Camp Sr.
She was a member of Appalachee Shoals Baptist Church and was employed for many years as a cook at David’s Fine Food and Dairy Queen. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, William “Hump” Jackson; a son; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Joe Clifford Camp Jr. and Lois D. Camp, Winder; five step-children; a step-granddaughter and great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 23, at Appalachee Shoals Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Eberhart & Son Mortuary, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
