CONYERS – Lois Rogers Gordon, 92, wife of the late Hal Gordon, died Saturday, December 24, 2011.

Born in Danielsville, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Bethel Gordon Rogers. She retired from Athens General as a nurse and was a member of Gordon’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, Kent Gordon, Conyers; sister, Mary Baker, Athens; one grandchild, two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, December 26 at Gordon’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Lord and Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
