Jenet Meeks (12-19-11)

HOSCHTON – Jenet Meeks, 54, died Monday, December 19, 2011.

Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Annie Queen Davis. She was a member of Jackson County Baptist Church and had been employed by Gwinnett Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Meeks, Hoschton; sons, Ricky McCullough, Flowery Branch, Jackie McCullough, Buford, and Kevin Meeks, Bethlehem; a daughter, Amanda Easterling, Winder; grandchildren, Marcus McCullough, C.J. Clarke, Brianna Clarke, Naryan Kinney, Kaytlynn Meeks and Makylnne Meeks; brothers, Tom Davis, Statham, Eddie Davis, Bishop, and Larry Davis, Nicholson; and sisters, Clara Browning, Danielsville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23, at 2 p.m. from Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Jack Lawson and Matthew Watson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, December 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
