ATLANTA - Kathryn Cartledge Fallaw, 98, died Monday, December 19, 2011 at Lenbrook Square Foundation.
She was born in Madison County, the daughter of the late Claude G. and Mattie Burroughs Cartledge. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. Mrs. Fallaw was a retired executive secretary for 36 years with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. She volunteered for Northside Hospital, and helped with the Peachtree Road Race and the Olympics. Mrs. Fallaw was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fallaw, Sr.; and a son, Charles Fallaw, Jr.
Survivors include grandchildren, Samuel C. Fallaw, Homewood, Ala. and Elizabeth L. Fallaw, Epworth; and brother, Karl H. Cartledge, Macon.
Graveside services were held at noon, Wednesday, December 21 at Mt. Hermon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce was in charge of arrangements.
