Jerry Sunderman

Jerry Martin Sunderman, 65, of Lula, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at The Oaks at Limestone Nursing Home following a brief illness.

He was born in Dyersburg, Tenn., the son of the late Morris and Wilda Sunderman and was Baptist. He was a member of the Lions Club and was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Sunderman.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Dianne Sunderman, Maysville, Kenny and Becky Sunderman and Patha Sunderman, all of Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Brad Holmes, Bloomington, Ind.; grandsons, Tyler Flanigan, Jordan Sunderman, Cody Sunderman, Hunter Sunderman and Ben Holmes; granddaughters, Amber Sunderman and Tyla Holmes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken and Ladonna Sunderman, Chicago, Ill., and Don and Julie Sunderman, Evansville, Ind.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 22, from 7 to 9 p.m.
