JEFFERSON – Eileen B. Corbett, 63, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011.
She was born in Atlanta, the daughter of the late Morris Marion Bryan, Jr. and Eileen Hennebry Bryan. She was retired from The State of Georgia in the Child Support Service Department. Mrs. Corbett was a member of the Jefferson Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Adela Benton Jones, Jefferson, and Maria Benton Waters, Gainesville; son, Larry Benton, Jr., Miami Beach, Fla.; sisters, Mildred "Millie" Bryan King, Athens, Kathleen Bryan Brandhofer, Berlin, Germany, and Virginia Bryan, New York, N.Y.; brothers, Morris Marion Bryan III, Anderson, S.C., Stephen Hart Bryan, New Hampshire, and Joseph Porter Bryan, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren, Erin Halley, Trey Halley, Hennebry Waters, Ramsey Waters, and Andrew Waters; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday December 10, at Evans Funeral Home chapel with Edward R. Bolen officiating. Interment was in Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson. Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Shade Storey, South Bryan, Alex Bryan, Scott Bryan, Larry Benton Sr. and John Huff.
