COMMERCE – Boe L. Ivey, 22, died early Monday morning, December 5, 2011, at Athens Regional Medical Center.

He was the son of James Guy Ivey Sr. of Commerce and Susan Hill Fisher of Tennessee.

Survivors in addition to his parents include brothers, James Guy Ivey Jr. and Michael J. Stephen Ivey, both of Commerce; grandparents, George L. Hill, Commerce, and Judy Kellum, Tennessee; great-grandmother, Beulah York, Commerce; and a great-aunt, Jeannette Kinsey, Mt. Airy.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with the Rev. Lester Haynes officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Church Cemetery in the Clarkesville area. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, December 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
