GRANBURY, TEXAS - Meda Phillis Kincaid Chambers, 97, passed away at a local nursing home.

She was a member of the Oak Trail Baptist Church in Granbury and former member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Brownwood, Texas. Mrs. Chambers had lived in Granbury, Texas for the past few years. She had worked at the South Fulton Hospital in East Point.

Survivors include Juanita Thomas and husband, Troy, of Granbury, Texas; Beatrice Childs and husband, Wayne, Brownwood, Texas, and Peggy Pearson and husband, Lester, Jefferson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at the Galilee Christian Church in Jefferson at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 10.

Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
