COMMERCE - William Edward Helbig, 77, died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Northridge Medical Center.
He was born in Ohio the son of the late Carl and Agnes Clasing Helbig. Mr. Helbig was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Gena Valiente Helbig, Commerce; brother, Carl Helbig, Merritt Island, Fla.; sisters, Lois Durica, Coco Beach, Fla., Nancy Magan, Coco Beach, Fla., Sandra Von Alt, Port St. Lucie, Fla., Doris Marzec, Boynton Beach, Fla., Susan Shulman of Payson, Ariz., Shirley Sichol, Suffern, N.Y., Pauline Keating, Merrit Island, Fla., and Ruth Manista, Anaheim Hills, Calif.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Deacon John Burke, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, December 3 from 10 to 11 a.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
