WINDER – Bobby Ray Garner, 61, died Monday, November 21, 2011.
Born in Hall County, he was the son of Lee “Boss” and Eula Lee Wofford Garner. Mr. Garner was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Garner.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine Garner; daughter, Tracy Garner Lashley, Stockbridge; stepdaughter, Melette Moss, Jefferson; stepson, Nicholas Hafer, Auburn; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Shirley Clinton, Dorothy Nell Thomas and Carolyn Cochran, all of Gainesville, Corine Morrison, Dawsonville, and Mary Jane Harkins, Hiawassee; and brothers, Butch Garner and Wayne Garner, both of Gainesville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, at 11 a.m., from Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Mike Garner and Jeff Garner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, November 21, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
