Lydia Sailers (11-21-11)

COMMERCE – Lydia Catlett Sailers, 94, died at Northridge Medical Center in Commerce on Monday, November 21, 2011.

She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Eliza Catlett. Mrs. Sailers was preceded in death by her husband, John Presley Sailers; a daughter, Cheryl Way; and brother, Wallace Catlett.

Survivors include a sister, Lillie Mae Waters, Commerce; brother, Aldwyn Catlett, Florida; granddaughter, Mary Lynn Miller, Monticello and two great-grandchildren, Mason Duncan and Lindsey Duncan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, at 11 a.m., from the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, November 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. She will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
