COMMERCE – Sylvia Jean Whitlock, 72, died Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Northridge Medical Center in Commerce.
Born in Commerce, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Merline Wilson Jordan. Mrs. Whitlock was preceded in death by her husband, Benson Whitlock; and two sons, Keith Whitlock and Robert Whitlock; and a sister, Lucy Wilson.
Survivors include children, Donna Kay Whitlock, Hull, and William Dean Whitlock, Commerce; siblings, Patsy Adams, Hull, Alton Jordan, Covington, and Charles Jordan, Commerce; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
No memorial services are scheduled at this time.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
