CARLTON - David Bruce Cooper, born August 16, 1952, died Monday, November 7, 2011.
Bruce, beloved and loving husband, precedes his wife of 36 years, Denise Porterfield Cooper, into life everlasting with our Lord. Bruce also leaves mother-in-law, Valerie Porterfield Spinks, and father-in-law, Marion “Bud” Spinks, and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will all miss him greatly. Bruce worked for Clarke County Fire Department for several years after serving in the United States Navy. Currently, he was employed by Athens USPO and spent time helping on the family farm.
