Frances Adams (11-7-11)

NICHOLSON - Frances Martin Adams, 87, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at her residence.

She was born in Hall County the daughter of the late Guy and Ester Deaton Martin. She was born in Hall County the daughter of the late Guy and Ester Deaton Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Center Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Adams; a son, Roy Martin; brother, Frank Martin; and sisters, Louise Tiller, Betty Lou Matthews and Myrtle Nettles.

Survivors include daughters, Ann Anderson, Jefferson, Shirley Wilson, Nicholson, and Lavonne Adams, Commerce; companion, Dempy Jones, Nicholson; brothers, Jessie Martin, Nicholson, and Guy Martin, Commerce; sisters, Mary Copeland, Jacksonville, Fla., Nina Watkins and Nora Brock, both of Nicholson; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 11, at 1 p.m. from the Center Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Prater and Jesse Mealor officiating. Burial will be at Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night, November 10, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Little-Ward Funeral Home Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
